      Linda MacDougall: Office Manager

Linda was born in Biloxi, MS in 1963 but has lived in Springfield since 1969.  Linda has been a veterinary technician for over 20 years and has been with All Creatures since July 2002.

 

Linda has a  son named Tyler who is currently a college student in Austin, TX.  She also has 6 dogs including her #1 dog Wishbone-a Jack Russell Terrier and her newest addition Chesney-another Jack Russell Terrier . She also has several Arabian horses, cats,  bunnies, and a small flock of chickens. 

 

Linda loves taking Chesney to agility class and competing in agility and rally obedience trials, trail riding, working in the yard and gardening, watching Nascar and local stock-car racing.


      Becky Drews-McGovern:  Veterinary Technician

Becky is originally from Wisconsin.. She began working at All Creatues in the summer of 2007.  Becky and her husband, Rob, have five dogs and three cats.

In her free time Becky enjoys bird watching and baking.

      Carolyn Richardson: Groomer

Carolyn has groomed dogs for over 28 years and has always loved animals.  She has been grooming at All Creatures since November of 2004.  She was raised on a dairy farm in Barry County and is the youngest of 7 children.  Carolyn has a son-Scott, a daughter-Leslie, and three grandsons-Zack, Brett, and Austin. Her furry family includes one horse-a big gray foxtrotter, two chocolate lab puppies-Mocha and Java, and Blossom-a boxer/beagle mix.  In her free time Carolyn enjoys horseback riding, camping, cooking, gardening and spending time with family and friends


     
Jan Myers: Veterinary Technician

Jan was born in Topeka, KS which is where most of her extended family lives.  Her parents moved when she was an infant so she has lived in Springfield most of her life.  She graduated from Glendale High School and attended Missouri state for 3 years.  She has worked in the veterinary field for 12 years and has been at All Creatures since October 2004.

 

Jan has been married for 33 years to husband Wayne.  They have 2 sons-Matt and Kris.  Jan has a twin sister and an older sister

 

Jan has quite a collection of pets including lots of Daschunds, an Aussies, 3 cats, one chihuahua and two horse!  

Jan's hobbies include horseback riding, training Wish, reading, and playing with the fur kids.

 

 Jan is 55 years old and has earned every wrinkle she has.  She has a deep abiding love of all animals and this is the last job she will ever have.  She thinks All Creatures is a wonderful place to work because we all have the same goal and that is taking excellent care of all the animals we have the privilege of knowing.




      Jayme Gavisk:  Surgery Technician

Jayme was born in Springfield, MO and grew up in coastal North Carolina. Along with her family she spent a lot of time doing outdoor activities and had several kinds of pets while growing up.  She later volunteered at a wildlife center and ultimately obtained a job at a veterinary hospital.  After living outside the country for several years she returned to Springfield to be closer to her grandmother.  She has been at All Creatures since February 2006.

 

Her family includes her  father-Donald, mother-Darlene, two siblings-Jessica and Buddy, and a grandmother who is her only local relative.  She also has a very nice boyfriend named Will.

 

Jayme has  eight cats, a boa constrictor, some rats, and 3 dogs:  Peanut-Jack Russell, Max-Dane/Pointer mix, Lucille-great dane, a tropical aquarium, and a Koi pond

 

Jayme's hobbies include kitty rescue and rehoming, Frisbee, juggling, movies, camping, exploring nature, reading, and learning

 

Jayme loves working at All Creatures!




      Michelle Burnham: Veterinary Technician
Michelle started at All Creatures in August 2008. Michelle worked at McDonalds for 17 years and can tell you anything you want to know about a hamburger. She has also been a secretary, receptionist, librarian, assembly production worker, home decorator, file clerk, and inventory personnel.

She has a husband-Joe, and 8 children-Joey, Sara, Whitney, Amber, Deborah, Kelseylee, Kendra, and Daniel. They also have several dogs and cats.  Michelle is also a new (and proud) grandmother! When she’s not taking care of kids or working, Michelle likes to sew, paint, decorate, and do minor home remodeling. Michelle loves animals and has even found that she enjoys the occasional human being.


     Kristen Wallace:
Receptionist
Kristen started at All Creatures in August 2008.  She graduated from Central High School with I.B. program certificates and she is currently seeking her degree in Healthcare Administration.

Kristen is married to Casey Wallace and they have a daughter named Kennedy. She and Casey have 6 cats-Goober, Lady, Evie, Albert, Jones and Harvey.

Kristen loves animals and would someday like to own a house for her family and one for her cats. She says she spends so much time with the cats that she considers them her hobby!


      Lauren Kneip: Receptionist
Lauren started at All Creatues in September 2009.  She lived most of her life in Illinois and is attending MSU for an animal science degree.

Lauren has a boyfriend Josh and a new baby boy-Logan.  She also shares her home with a German Shepherd named Zora, a Bullmastiff/Pit mix named Ava, three cats-Mr. Bundles, Malachi, and Nala,,a Bearded Dragon named Sid-vicious, a boxer/pit mix named Makaveli.

Lauren enjoys being around friends and family, going to movies, shopping, and amusement parks.

      Cara Swyers: Operation Support

Cara started at All Creatures in July of 2009.  Cara was raised in Austin, TX and in Yellville, AR where she graduated high school in 1996.  Cara attended college at NACC in Harrison, AR and OTC right here in Springfield. 
Cara is mom to a wonderful and brilliant son, Garrison.  She and Garrison have 5 pets-Gracie, an 8 year old Persian cat, Atilla the Chinchilla,  two Chihuahua mix puppies named Speetz and Noopsey, and a 1 year old Shitzu, named Berguitta.

Cara loves music, outdoors and spending time with her son.

      Kayla Barnhart: Veterinary Technician
Kayla worked at All Creatures for 2 years back in 2004 and then returned in January 2009.  Kayla graduated from Strafford High School in 1989 and attended St. John's radiology school for a year.

Kayla is married to her husband John and they have a daughter named Alexandria.  She also has a step-son named Isaac.  Kayla's furry family includes 3 dogs-Caymen, Chloe, and Sebastian, 2 cats-Precious and Kharma, and 2 ducks-Cloud and Kersey. 

Kayla enjoys gardening, working in her greenhouse and cooking wild game.

      Melissa May: Veterinary Technician
Melissa started at All Creatures in September 2009.  Melissa has a biology degree with a chemistry minor from MSU and has worked in the animal care field since 2002.

Melissa and her husband James were married in July 2009.  Melissa and James share their home with Poncho-an 11 year old Springer Spaniel and Sally-a super cool calico cat.

Melissa enjoys spending time with friends by the campfire, listening to her husband play the guitar, trying our new sushi flavors, and taking Poncho to the dog park.

 

      Bobbie Dampier: Veterinary Technician

Bobbie started at All Creatures in October 2009.  She graduated from MSU in 2009 with a B.S. in Biology minoring in Chemistry and Math.  Bobbie loves her 2 dogs; Daisy, a 2 year old Beagle and Darwin, a 10 month old Lab.  In her spare time( ha!) Bobbie enjoys crosswords, karaoke, disney movies (mostly the princesses), nature, and painting.
